This disease is causing nearly thousands of deaths every year and in the developed countries like U.S. almost 4500 woman are dying in a year. This disease is considered as a dangerous disease because the rates of deaths are increasing day by day. Cervix is situated at the lower part of the uterus and it leads to vagina. When malignant tumors develop in this region then the condition is known as cervical cancer.

 

Medical experts have stated that the chances of occurances can be reduced just by leading a healthy lifestyle. This disease usually affects woman. The chances of occurrences are high in woman after she reaches the age of 60 or more. Some of the younger woman also develop it but the rate of incidence is higher among old woman. According to the survey conducted the people from minor race face the maximum risk. This disease usually occurs due to the ignorance of some matters. When the woman knows about the facts relating to the cervical cancer then she can drastically reduce the chance for development. Some awareness programs should be conducted to know about the recurrence of cancer.

 

When the woman gets her diagnosis done then she is usually detected with squamous intraepithelial lesions. This develops only after 10 years after the development of cancerous cells. Hence the woman should visit the doctor as early as possible and have a proper screening. The woman should be properly aware of the stage of the development so that she can start the treatment as early as possible. The occurance of cervical cancer is often associated with the unhealthy habits and lifestyle as per the medical experts. Like the other cancers the symptoms of this cancer cannot be easily noticed by the woman. The symptoms associated to this disease are also unique at the same time. It is really difficult for the person to get diagnosed by the doctor because she cannot know about the symptoms early. Hence she must be educated in these matters.

 

But there are some risk associated factors that increase the chances of occurrences. The hereditary factors play a prominent role in this regard.  Additionally if a person has an improper sex life then he becomes easily prone. This disease causes metastasis very easily. It usually spreads to the organs like liver, kidney, lungs etc. when the disease spreads to the other parts it becomes more malignant and fatal. The earlier the symptoms are identified by the person the quicker the treatment takes place. The phase for development in case of cervical cancer is slow and hence the effects are easily recognized in the later stages. The woman should hence continuously know the happenings within herself and learn to tackle the disease. she should attend to the doctor periodically and gets tests and diagnosis done.
